The Cleveland Browns are expected to inquire about trading for Khalil Mack.

Mack is holding out in search for a new contract with the Oakland Raiders.

The Browns passed on Mack with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday that McKenzie has fielded calls about Mack.

The Oakland Raiders have fielded calls from teams interested in trading for Khalil Mack in recent days.

Those in contact with the Raiders get the impression they have "no imminent interest" in dealing Mack.

Oakland has been offered a first-round pick and another high selection, but they are seeking at least two first-round selections for the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year.

According to the New York Daily News, the Jets are one of the interested clubs.

The New Orleans Saints have acquired Teddy Bridgewater from the New York Jets for a third round pick.

The Jets will start Sam Darnold in Week 1.

The Jets signed Bridgewater in the offseason and his play in the preseason made him one of the NFL's most tradable assets.

Drew Brees turn 40 in January and they didn't have a clear successor to him for when he retires. Bridgewater turns 26 in November.

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to trade Brett Hundley to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2019 draft pick.

Hundley will be the backup to Russell Wilson with the Seahawks while DeShone Kizer will be Aaron Rodgers' backup with the Packers.

The New York Giants were "50-50" on their willingness to trade Odell Beckham Jr. last spring.

No team, however, met the Giants' asking price of two first round picks.

The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers were the two teams most interested in Beckham, but there were others as well. One team hired a private investigator to track Beckham. The report of the private investigator set off no alarms.

The Giants signed Beckham to a five-year, $95 million extension on Monday.

The Oakland Raiders haven't ruled out the possibility of trading Khalil Mack.

Reports indicate the Raiders have received interest from as many as 12 teams on Mack.

Mack hasn't received any offers from the Raiders since February. The Raiders could be waiting to see whether Mack is willing to give up game checks, which would amount to $814,000 per week.

The Green Bay Packers have received trade calls on Randall Cobb but he's not on the block.

Michael Lombardi of The Ringer had reported that Cobb was "available" and "being shopped around."

Cobb is in the final year of his contract, scheduled to make $8.6 million in base salary. 

The Packers used three draft choices on receivers this year.

The New York Jets have reached out to the Oakland Raiders about a trade for Khalil Mack.

The Raiders have received interest in Mack from a number of teams.

Mack is holding out for a long-term extension and is looking to become the first non-quarterback to make $20 million per year.

Mack had 10.5 sacks, 13 quarterback hits and 55 hurries, according to Pro Football Focus.

Mike Maccagnan, in an interview with New York radio station WFAN, said Sam Darnold is "exceptionally impressed" with the rookie quarterback.

The New York Jets also have Teddy Bridgewater and Josh McCown on the roster, fueling speculation that Bridgewater could be traded. Maccagnan did nothing to squash the rumors.

"There's nothing to stop us from keeping three [quarterbacks], and there's nothing to stop us from keeping two," said Maccagnan, basically confirming there's a "for sale" sign on Bridgewater.

Bridgewater, who has impressed in two preseason games, is only 25 with a $5 million base salary, plus incentives.

The Denver Broncos pursued Colin Kaepernick in the past and they don't appear to view him as a viable veteran backup quarterback now since he turned down that opportunity.

The Broncos attempted to trade for Kaepernick in 2016 before his anthem protests began.

“Colin had his chance here," said John Elway. "We offered him a contract. He didn’t take it. So, As I said it in my deposition, I don’t know if i’ll be legally able to say this, but he’s had his chance to be here. He passed it."
